Get an LTL freight quote

Enter your lane and freight details below. Density, cubic feet, and freight class are calculated as you type, so the quote you get back is priced against the same numbers a carrier will measure on the dock.

1

Describe the shipment

Lane, pallets, weight, dimensions. We work out class from density if you don't know it.

2

A specialist prices it

Quoted against live carrier pricing, not a generic lookup table. Usually same business day.

3

Nothing is booked from this form. Want to ship? A specialist takes it from there.

Common questions

How much does LTL shipping cost?

An LTL rate is built from the lane, the shipment's freight class, its weight bracket, the fuel surcharge in effect, and any accessorials the pickup or delivery requires. Because carrier pricing is contract-specific, there is no single published rate for a lane — two shippers moving identical freight on the same lane routinely pay different amounts. That is why this form captures the shipment rather than showing a generic estimate.

How fast will I get the quote back?

Usually the same business day. Requests submitted late in the day or over a weekend are quoted the next business morning.

Do I need to know my freight class?

No. Enter the pallet dimensions and weight and the form calculates cubic feet, density, and the class that density implies. If you already know the class or the NMFC item, enter it and we will use yours — a named NMFC item can carry a fixed class regardless of density.

Does submitting this book a shipment?

No. This is a quote request only. Nothing is tendered to a carrier and no pickup is scheduled. If you want to move the freight, a specialist walks you through becoming a customer first.

What are accessorials and why do they matter so much?

Accessorials are services beyond dock-to-dock linehaul — liftgate, residential access, inside delivery, appointments, limited-access sites. They are the most common reason a quote and the eventual invoice disagree, because a service that was needed but not quoted gets billed after the fact. Flagging them up front is the single best thing you can do to make a quote hold.
